Sam Kullman's Diner

3,010 sq. ft.

The Sam Kullman’s Diner is located in Linthe, Germany. The architectural elements of the project embody all the classical elements and features of American Diners of the 40’s and 50’s.  Stainless steel, brightly colored metals and glass block are all present. The interior elements remain classical in nature.  High pressure laminates adorned most walls and tables.  Stainless steel edging and counter stools are reminiscent of kitchens from a generation ago.  An element normally found in the kitchen of the 50’s but never in an American diner was the introduction of Forbo marmoleum floors.  The Forbo floor allowed for special designs and patterns to be introduced including the company’s logo, which greets patrons upon entering the diner.
