This '50s-style diner project developed from Montclair State University's desire to provide a safe, campus-based venue to satisfy its students' around-the-clock dining demands. Named for the University's mascot, the Red Hawk Diner is a 2,800 sq. ft. restaurant that seats 120 and is open to students and the general public. It's the first diner to grace a college campus and it adds both a touch of tradition and a touch of modern technology - it's built with Internet ports under each table so students can work as they eat.
