Prompted by an ever-increasing volume of emergency calls and outdated communications systems, the Newark Police Department opted for a major upgrade- both in its facility and its equipment. Time, however was extremely tight. The project had to be up and running by the year’s end to meet Y2K readiness requirements. Kullman met the deadline (nine months for design and construction) and the budget.
