New York City Transit Authority

The New York City Transit Authority is currently modernizing the infrastructure of the New York subway systems. This work includes the construction of new signal and communication rooms to house equipment. Usually, building these rooms results in major disruptions in service. The Transit Authority wanted to find a better way.

The Solution
By using Kullman's steel and concrete modular construction technology, the signal and communication rooms are built off-site and delivered where needed as complete buildings.

This saves the Transit Authority time, money and the inconvenience of power outages. It also provides a high quality structure, designed to last as long, if not longer, than a conventionally
built structure.
