Needing new residences for 150 students by summer's end, Muhlenberg College replaced its old wood buildings, which reached their maximum lifespan, with five steel and concrete. brick modular buildings. With escalating construction costs, a challenging schedule and a small section of difficult land to build, Muhlenberg College utilized off-site modular construction with Whiting-Turner, Kullman, and Spillman Farmer. The residences, built in Kullman's factory in five months, were set in ten days during the summer of 2007.
