"This is what it might look like if Dynamic Architecture's plans to build a "tower in motion" in the United Arab Emirates state of Dubai are successful. Each prefabricated floor of the tower can rotate independently, creating a potentially stunning visual effect.

This image actually doesn't depict Dubai at all, however, but Singapore--a potential location for future Dynamic Architecture towers, should the Dubai experiment prove successful."

"Here is a computer rendition of the proposed Dynamic Architecture tower in partial form. A central "core" would be constructed using traditional building techniques, but the components of each floor would be factory-created in the manner of prefabricated homes and then assembled like building blocks on the core."

Lodged between floors of the proposed Dynamic Architecture tower are horizontal wind turbines. With this environmentally friendly energy source, the architects working on the skyscraper estimate that the building will be able to power itself--and five other equivalent buildings.
