The U.S. Embassy in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan met the government’s demanding physical security requirements while advancing the U.S. government’s traditional commitment to sophisticated chancery design. The project was built in twenty-four months at a time when comparable projects required four years to complete.

  • Building Automation System:  Controls HVAC, smoke exhaust, control of VAV boxes, hot and chilled water systems and monitors critical systems such as fuel oil distribution and fire pump.
  • Fire suppression: Provided complete fire suppression system including water storage tank, diesel driven fire pump, sprinkler system, dry pipe system, and fire alarms.
  • Emergency back-up power:  Included a diesel generator, automatic transfer switches, automatic load shedding, and UPS.
  • Voice Data: Designed and installed voice data networks.
  • Technical Security System: Designed and installed security cameras, motion detectors, and security alarms.
  • Potable Water:  Designed and installed settling tank, water filtration, chlorination and distribution system designed to eliminate bacteria and purify to AWWA standards.
  • Electrical:  Kullman provided all high voltage systems.
